The kennels at the Pup Stop are large, comfortable outdoor runs. Each dog has his own 20 ft x 4 ft area in which to roam, run, or lounge. The runs are covered top and bottom with heavy-duty chainlink fencing, to discourage climbers and diggers. The roof of the kennels is partly covered, offering some shade and some sunshine to each run. It also gives the dog a dry space outside during a light rain or snow.
While most dogs prefer to remain outdoors during the majority of their stay, the choice is theirs. Each run has a private, quiet, indoor sleeping area. This area is equipped with a radiant heating system, warming the floor first where your dog can best benefit from it. The rooms are of solid wall on all sides, so your pet can always get away from the sights and sounds of the kennel, whenever she wishes. The door to the sleeping area remains always open. That gives each dog a warm, dry place to rest, while being free to go back outside at any time.
